Blog Update: Checking Out East LA Comic Con!

These past few months have been SUPER busy to say the least. With work and promotional events, community happenings and more, I am finally on vacation! So now, on to the update!

East LA Comic Con:

The very first East LA Comic Con turned out pretty cool πŸ™‚ The event was held at El Gallo Plaza on May 20, 2017, and featured local artists and vendors. Lots of great stuff to see, plus I got an autographed La Cucaracha poster from Lalo Alcaraz πŸ™‚

Celebrating Selena: Fans Gather to Remember an Icon

I recently attended a most wonderful event, the #SelenaFanGathering, held at Plaza de La Raza in Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles, CA. This event celebrated the life and music of icon Selena Quintanilla-Perez.

Selena was adored by fans all over the world, but her life was tragically cut short 22 years ago. Her memory and legacy continue to live on through events like the Selena Fan Gathering.

Created by Roger Gomez of LoveSelena.com, the celebration featured Selena music, impersonators, vendors, musical performances, and even a Selena fashion show.

It was such an awesome atmosphere and a great experience to be among fellow Selena fans πŸ™‚ She was an artist who touched the lives of many people, and her life and music left a positive impact on generations to come πŸ™‚
