Huy Fong Foods, Inc. has opened its doors once again for its annual Chili Grinding Open House. Located at the company’s facility in Irwindale, CA, the Open House consists of a tour of the chili processing plant, providing the public with an opportunity to witness the chili grinding process.
Founded by CEO David Tran in 1980, Huy Fong Foods, Inc. is a globally recognized company, with one of its most popular products being the famed Sriracha chili sauce. Restaurants all around the world make sure they have the bottled red sauce with a green top readily available for their customers.
The popularity of this condiment has even spawned a gift shop at the Irwindale facility. Patrons of “The Rooster Room” can chose from Sriracha-flavored popcorn and sunflower seeds to Sriracha-themed pajamas and even underwear emblazoned with Sriracha bottles.
Currently, the weekend Open House tours are booked, but you can still call for any possible open spaces. The facility also offers weekday tour dates, sans chili grinding, which can be found at their website: www.huyfong.com/toursnow.
